Children's playground






The Jõulumäe playground offers children exciting and engaging activities while also supporting the development of motor skills and physical abilities.
Outdoor gym

The outdoor gym offers an excellent opportunity to train in the fresh air. The complex includes both a compact strength training area and a varied selection of exercise machines for training different muscle groups.
Outdoor Beach Court

The outdoor sand court offers the opportunity to play beach volleyball and beach soccer in the fresh air.
Football Pitch

The Jõulumäe Recreational Sports Centre offers excellent opportunities to play football in a beautiful pine forest setting. Here, sport, fresh air, and peaceful surroundings come together to create an ideal environment for playing with friends, spending time with family, or training.
At Jõulumäe, there are two outdoor football fields:
– A grass football pitch (50 x 100 m)
– A beach soccer sand field
Athletics

The athletics facilities at Jõulumäe are designed for both recreational athletes and more advanced sports enthusiasts, offering excellent opportunities for practicing and training in a variety of athletics disciplines.
Tennis courts

At Jõulumäe, there are four tennis courts with a Top Clay surface – an innovative hybrid clay court whose playing characteristics resemble those of a traditional clay court. The permeable carpet base is filled with natural crushed brick, which is also used on classic clay courts.
The Top Clay playing surface holds an ITF Category 1 (slow) certification, offering excellent grip and a comfortable playing experience.
Footpool




Footpool, also known as football billiards, is a fun outdoor entertainment game and a great way to spend free time. It is a combination of football and billiards, played on a large billiards table using footballs.
Handball

The Jõulumäe ball game court complex features a handball court completed in 2021, offering excellent playing conditions on a full-size court with a Sport Court PowerGame Plus plastic surface. Handball goals and handballs are available for rent on site.

Volleyball

At the Jõulumäe ball game court complex, a full-size volleyball court completed in 2021 awaits you. Its Sport Court PowerGame Plus plastic surface ensures a high-quality playing experience. In addition, it is possible to set up two adjacent volleyball courts on the handball court.
Badminton

Badminton is also available at Jõulumäe. As we do not have a permanent badminton court, please let us know in advance and we will find a suitable place for you to play.
Basketball

The ball game court complex at Jõulumäe includes a full-size basketball court completed in 2021, featuring a Sport Court PowerGame Plus plastic surface that holds FIBA and FIBA 3×3 certifications.
Street basketball

The street basketball area includes three courts, offering the opportunity to play and practice basketball in the open air.
Tennis




Pickleball

Pickleball is a fun and social paddle sport suitable for people of all ages.
Created in the United States in the 1960s, the game combines the best elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis, allowing players to enjoy the sport from their very first sessions. It is played on a court with a tennis-style net using a special perforated ball. Pickleball can be played as both doubles and singles.
Padel Court




Next to the Jõulumäe tennis courts is a PadelConcept Club padel court with an artificial turf surface, which is an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced players. Padel is suitable for players of all ages and offers a fun and engaging way to stay active in the middle of nature.
Disc Golf Park




The Jõulumäe disc golf park offers three different courses suitable for both beginners and more advanced players. Here you can enjoy the game in beautiful natural surroundings while staying active in the fresh air. The available courses are the Yellow, Red, and Blue courses, each with its own unique characteristics and challenges.
Outdoor classroom

The outdoor classroom at the Jõulumäe Recreational Sports Centre is an ideal place to combine work, relaxation, and fresh air. The year-round pavilion is well suited for hosting lectures, workshops, discussions, outdoor learning sessions, or spending a pleasant evening outdoors.
Coffee House




The café building located near the main building of the Jõulumäe Recreational Sports Centre is well suited for both catering and various events. The flexible interior layout makes it easy to adapt the space according to the nature and needs of the event.
Small House

The Small House is a suitable option for a group of friends or a family. The house includes a living room, a kitchen area, a bedroom for four people, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The living room has a sofa bed that can be used as an additional sleeping place.
Päka House

The Päka House is located near the main building, offers three accommodation rooms of different sizes, each with a separate entrance.
Campings

There are 13 camping houses in total, offering 46 beds. The houses are located near the main building. Showers and toilets are located in the main building, and there are also outdoor toilets next to the camping houses. The houses are equipped with electric heating. Nearby, there are grill areas, bicycle racks, and ball game courts.
Tenting

The spacious camping area is located near the camping houses and ball game courts. Outdoor toilets and clean drinking water are available nearby, while shower facilities are located in the main building.
Outdoor dining area

The outdoor dining area is a place for shared meals and relaxing breaks in the fresh air. It is well suited for camps, groups, and event participants.
Stadium House

The Stadium House is located in the immediate vicinity of the main stadium and offers 12 accommodation places in total. The building has a toilet and shower facilities. All six rooms are double rooms with beds, and the rooms are equipped with electric heating.
Maintainance Building




The ski preparation and maintenance building, with 14 service boxes, is suitable for both competitions and training camps. Removable partitions allow for flexible use of the space according to specific needs.
Outdoor venue




The open-air stage at the Jõulumäe Recreational Sports Centre, located next to the main stadium, is an ideal venue for hosting memorable events throughout the year. Whether it is a concert, a ceremonial opening of a competition, a closing ceremony, a lecture, an award ceremony, or an entertainment event, the natural surroundings create a unique atmosphere that offers special moments for both performers and the audience.
Competition Service building

The competition service building includes rooms designed for various purposes:
– rooms for judges and timekeeping
– competition registration area
– medical service rooms
– utility and support rooms
Indoor Beach Arena




The Jõulumäe Indoor Beach Arena features a full-size football pitch that meets international standards and contains a thousand tons of soft dune sand. Here it doesn’t matter whether it is a cool summer evening or a snowless winter – the sand hall always maintains the ideal temperature to enjoy sports and physical activity in any weather. The Indoor Beach Arena is a year-round sports facility with a 32 × 40 m sand court area (approximately 2000 m²). It includes four beach volleyball or beach tennis courts. The sand area can also be configured to accommodate up to two beach handball courts or one beach soccer field.
Main Building

The main building of Jõulumäe houses the reception and administration, accommodation, catering services, a gym open to all visitors, seminar rooms, and saunas available by prior booking. The main building is the central hub of Jõulumäe, where visitors can obtain information and begin their journey onto the pine forest trails and into various active activities.

Grilling areas

Jõulumäe offers designated grilling areas for visitors, where you can spend enjoyable time in the middle of nature and prepare a meal outdoors.
Running trails

The running trails on the left side of Jõulumäe start from the main stadium and run through the pine forest dunes. The trails are clearly marked with painted tree trunks, and at turning points there are direction signs and kilometre markers.
The running trails heading to the right from the main stadium are also marked with painted tree trunks, signs, and kilometre markers, ensuring clear and easy navigation along the routes.
Hiking trails




The Jõulumäe Recreational Sports Centre, bordering the Uulu–Võiste Landscape Protection Area, offers excellent opportunities for hiking enthusiasts throughout the year. The hiking trails winding through our pine forests lead you to discover a unique landscape of dunes, bogs, and elevated viewpoints with views of the sea. A variety of trails of different lengths and difficulty levels are available, suitable for families, school groups, and experienced hikers alike.
Cycling trails

The cycling trails offer the opportunity to ride a mountain bike along the forest trails of Jõulumäe. They are suitable for both recreational riders and more experienced cyclists.
Asphalt-covered trails




The asphalt-covered trails at Jõulumäe are suitable for roller skiers, roller skaters, cyclists, runners, and Nordic walkers, and are particularly well suited for more sport-oriented training. The trails are varied in terrain, ranging from 1.1 to 3.5 km in length, and wind through the pine forest. The asphalt surface was renewed in autumn 2024 and is five metres wide along its entire length.
